How do I add assessment results?

You can add assessment results by clicking on the Add Assessment Results button on the Assessments page.

There are a number of options available for adding assessment results. The goal is to be able to map all assessment results together on the same graph regardless of assessment type.

(Don't worry. You can of course also graph only results for a specific type as well by sorting by assessment type.)

Input basic assessment data.
Choose an assessment type: Kid-Inspired, WIDA, or Other.
Choose whether to use suggested standards or set your own standards. A score is created by dividing the score the student got in each language domain by the standard for that language domain on the assessment. For WIDA, for instance, the suggested standard is 4.5 since that is what is usually required for students to test out of LEP services. The standards for Kid-Inspired assessments differ for each assessment and those standards are added automatically if you select Use Suggested Standards.
You can change any of these details later on the assessments page.
The assessment results can be added to certain forms automatically as well at a later date.
**Tip: **After adding results, you'll get a button that allows you to load the form again with all of the options you previously selected already selected for you. This helps speed up the process of adding assessment results.

How do I EDIT Assessment or Form results I've already added?

You can easily edit results from ASSESSMENTS or from FORMS.

To edit fields visible in the table, just double click on the field.

How do I filter or search a table when I have created a lot of records?

You can use the Search bar above the table on the page to search for records by typing.

Or you can click on the Table Filters dropdown in the sidebar to filter only the records you want to view.

How do I manage schools on my account?

Accepted Answer

You need at least one school for your account. Schools help teachers who have to manage ELLs across multiple school buildings to keep things organized. (If you are an independent teacher, you can create your own school and call it whatever you want.)

To view all your schools, just go to schools in the menu or click the link below.View All Schools ->

To add a school, just click the Add a School button on the schools page or the link in the menu.Add a School Now ->

To delete a school, just click the Add a School button on the schools page or the link in the menu.Add a School Now ->

To Edit a School Name or Delete a School:

Click on the row for that school in the Schools table.
A little black popup will appear with the options to Edit or Delete.
Be careful deleting a school since there is no way to get it back. Students and other data are not removed when deleting a school.

How do I edit a student in the ELL Management Portal?

On the Students page, double click on any field in the table to edit it.

Or you can click on any row in the Students table and an edit button will appear. Click on the Edit button to edit that student's details.
